Give a Sprinkle Instead of a Shower

If this isn’t mommy-to-be’s first baby, maybe a shower isn’t needed, but a little sprinkle would be appreciated. After the first baby, usually the bigger ticket items like strollers, bassinets, baby swings and such are tucked away for the next baby. Since you won’t need to help the new mommy gather everything she needs for her baby, you might want to just “replenish” what she does have and uses.

On your invitations announce that you are giving a "sprinkle" instead of a shower and they are to bring replenishable items such as diapers, wipes, powder, lotion, bibs, and burp cloths. I’m sure you can find lots of items that mothers use everyday that needs to be resupplied.

As far as decorative themes, you could combine any theme that you want with this type of shower, but umbrellas would be cute.
